Soulful Saturday : Doing Good is My Thing

Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. [10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

How awesome is that?
I am absolutely awed by the truth that nothing that I do will give me salvation. I cannot buy it. I cannot steal it. I cannot work for it. All I can do is receive it. And God wants to give it to **me**. He wants to give it to you too.
I am also wowed by the truth that I am *created * specifically for good works.

The same is also true for you. 
Hope you choose today to start doing the very thing you have been created to do.

Grace means that all of our mistakes now serve purpose instead of serving shame. @POTSC

When we let go & accept Grace, we now serve with, for & a purpose.

We serve a purpose, for we are His hands & feet to a hurting, broken world needing to see hope.

We serve for a purpose, because Grace shows us his heart for all, a love that He desires all to know & receive.

We serve with purpose, because we knowhow it feels to be set free of bondage & shame, and want the same for everyone else.

Grace given freely still needs to be received.

Shame will shrivel & dissolve in the Presence of Grace, for they cannot share the same space.

Love is the strongest force in the universe.

Love expressed as grace ?
